Syntaxin, a 33kD molecule with carboxy terminal membrane anchor, is a synaptic protein identified by its ability to interact with the synaptic vesicle protein synaptotagmin.
It contains one 1 t-SNARE coiled-coil homology domain and has been implicated in docking at synaptic vesicles of presynaptic neurotransmitter release sites.
Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot.
