Formed from thymidine during the oxidation of DNA by ionizing radiation or reactive oxygen species (ROS) that are formed from inflammatory response.
This causes genetic mutations, altered gene expression and chromosomal instability that has generally been implicated with aging, cancers and autoimmune disease.
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA and Immunohistochemistry.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:ELISA: ≥1:25,000Immunohistochemistry: ParaffinOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
