ZO-1 is a protein located on a cytoplasmic membrane surface of intercellular tight junctions.
It may be involved in signal transduction at cell-cell junctions.
Two transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been identified for this gene.
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot.
Other applications have not been tested.
Recommended Dilutions: ELISA: 1:128,000Western Blot: 0.3-1ug/ml detects an ~170kD band observed in human brain (cerebral cortex) lysates (calculated MW of 187kD according to NP_783297.2)

Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
