• This gene encodes a member of the GRB2/Sem5/Drk family.
• This member is an adaptor-like protein involved in leukocyte-specific protein-tyrosine kinase signaling.
• Like its related family member, GRB2-related adaptor protein (GRAP), this protein contains an SH2 domain flanked by two SH3 domains.
• This protein interacts with other proteins, such as GRB2-associated binding protein 1 (GAB1) and the SLP-76 leukocyte protein (LCP2), through its SH3 domains.
• Transcript variants utilizing alternative polyA sites exist.
• Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot.
• Other applications have not been tested.
• Recommended Dilutions: Peptide ELISA Titer: 1:32,000Western Blot: 1-3ug/ml detects ~38kD band observed lysates of cell line Jurkat (calculated MW of 37.9kD according to NP_004801.1).
• In transfected HEK293 transiently expressing GRAP2 a band of approx.
• 40kD is observed.
• This band is not observed in the non-transfected HEK293.
• Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
• Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
• Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
• Store at -20°C.
• Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months.
• For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
