Galanin is small neuropeptide that functions as a cellular messenger within the central and peripheral nervous systems, modulating diverse physiologic functions (Mechenthaler, 2008).
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot.
Other applications have not been tested.
Recommended Dilutions: Peptide ELISA Titer: 1:32,000Western Blot: 1-3ug/ml detects ~17kD band observed in Human Brain (Cerebellum) and Mouse Brain lysates (calculated MW of 13.3kD according to NP_057057.2)

Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
