Mouse Nestin is an approximately 207kD protein (1864aa) expressed in neural crest cells, CNS neural stems cells, as well as a few non-neural cell types in the embryo, including cells within the pancreatic islets of Langerhans and the limb bud.
Nestin is an intermediate filament-associated protein, and contributes to the cytoskeleton.
Applications:Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry, Immunocytochemistry and Western Blot.
Other applications have not been tested.
Recommended Dilutions: Immunohistochemistry: 1:2000-1:5000 using 2% paraformaldehyde-fixed tissues
Immunocytochemistry: 1:2000-1:5000 using 2% paraformaldehyde-fixed cells
Western Blot: 1:10,000-1:20,000Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
