It is part of the membrane attack complex which can insert into the cell membrane and cause cell to lyse.
People with C6 deficiency are prone to bacterial infection.
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, Indirect Flow Cytometry and Immunohistochemistry.
Other applications have not tested.
Recommended Dilutions:Western Blot: 1:1000Indirect Flow Cytometry: 1:10-1:50Immunofluorescence: 1:10-1:50Immunohistochemistry (FFPE): 1:50-1:100Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
