• A cytochalasin B-sensitive carrier located in the membrane, GLUT-5 appears to be primarily functional as a fructose transporter.
• It is expressed in the small intestine, and is also found in the skeletal muscle, kidney and adipose tissue but at significantly reduced levels.
• Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot.
• Other applications not tested.
• Recommended Dilutions:Western Blot: 1:1000 detected GLUT-5 in 10ug of mouse kidney lysates
• Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
• Positive Control:Mouse kidney lysate
• Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
• Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
