Interleukin-12 is produced by activated B lymphocytes and macrophages.
The properties of IL-12 include the stimulation of growth of activated T lymphocytes and the development of TH1 CD4 positive cells and CD8 positive cytotoxic T cells.
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Neutralization.
The detection limit is ~50ng/lane under non-reducing and reducing conditions.
Neutralization: The ND50 was determined to be ~0.1-0.5ug/ml in the presence of 25ng/ml of recombinant canine IL-12, using PHA activated human peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs)
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C.
Reconstitute with sterile PBS.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
