特徴
- SphK1 catalyzes the phosphorylation of sphingosine 1-phosphate; an important lipid mediator with multiple functions.
- In light of this, SphK1 has been implicated in regulation of Ca2+ homoeostasis, inflammation, immunity and cancer growth.
- However, its central function is thought to be in the development of the cardiovascular and central nervous system.
- SphK1 has a molecular weight of 42kD.
- Applications:Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry.
- Other applications not tested.
- Recommended Dilution:Immunohistochemistry (paraffin): 5-15ug/ml.
- Requires antigen retrieval using heat pre-treatment for staining of paraffin sections.
- Sodium citrate buffer pH 6.0 is recommended
- Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
- Positive Control Tissue:Adrenal, Pheochromocytes.
- Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
- Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
- Store at -20°C.
- Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
- For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
