特徴
- Protein S is a 77kD vitamin K-dependent glycoprotein.
- Protein S is produced by endothelium, the liver and megakaryocytes, but is found circulating in plasma.
- Protein S binds activated Protein C enabling inactivation of Factor Va and VIIIa, but it can also form a non-covalent complex with C4bp.
- Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot.
- Other applications not tested.
- Recommended Dilution:Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
- Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
- Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
- Store at -20°C.
- Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months.
- For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
