特徴

• Peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor, delta (PPARD), a member of the nuclear hormone receptor subfamily.
• Upon activation, PPARD forms heterodimers with retinoid X receptors (RXRs), and functions to regulate transcription of specific gene sequences.
• PPARD controls genes involved in lipid metabolism, and enhances fatty acid catabolism and energy uncoupling in adipose tissue and skeletal muscle.
• PPARD has also been implicated in the proliferation and differentiation of preadipocytes, enterocytes, keratinocytes and the placenta.
• PPARD agonists could be used therapeutically to target multiple components of the metabolic syndrome, including insulin resistance, hyperglycemia, dyslipidemia, and atherosclerosis.
• Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot.
• Other applications not tested.
• Recommended Dilution:ELISA: 1:2000-1:8000Western Blot: 1:500-1:2000 detects a band of ~55kD in heart whole cell lysates.
• Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

• Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
