84-1127-54 Hrk (Activator of Apoptosis Harakiri, BH3-interacting Domain Containing Protein 3, BID3, DP5, Harakiri BCL2 Interacting Protein (Contains Only BH3 Domain), Neuronal Death Protein DP5) 100ug H7446-50B
HRK regulates apoptosis through its interaction with the anti-apoptotic proteins Bcl-2 and Bcl-XL, and in conjunction to the mitochondrial pore forming protein p32.
HRK is thought to have a specific role in initiating neuronal and hematopoietic cell apoptosis, in particular to growth factor deprivation.
