• CLIP170 associates with the growing ends of microtubules, a type of behavior known as 'plus end tracking' that is exhibited by proteins called +TIPS.
• It is known to bind to CLASPS and IQGAP1, and is thought to play a role as a positive regulator of microtubule dynamics.
• CLIP170 is also involved in targeting of the dynactin complex to the ends of growing microtubules, and may be important in mitosis.
• Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot.
