特徴

• PEDF is syntetized and released by human fetal retinal pigment epithelial cells (RPE) into the interphotoreceptor matrix and is localized to human chromosome 17p.
• It is a 50kD multifunctional glycoprotein belonging to the serpin protease inhibitor supergene (serpin) family, acting like substrates rather than inhibitors of serine proteases, being also described as serine peptidase inhibitor, clade F (alfa-2 antiplasmin, pigment epithelium derived factor), member 1.
• Applications:Suitable for use in Indirect ELISA and Western Blot.
• Other applications not tested.

• Storage and Stability:Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C.
• Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O.
• Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
• Store at -20°C.
• For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
• Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
