特徴

• GRIA1 acts as an excitatory neurotransmitter at many synapses in the central nervous system.
• Binding of the excitatory neurotransmitter L-glutamate induces a conformation change, leading to the opening of the cation channel, and thereby converts the chemical signal to an electrical impulse.
• The receptor then desensitizes rapidly and enters a transient inactive state, characterized by the presence of bound agonist.
• Applications:Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry, Immunoprecipitation and Western Blot.
• Other applications not tested.
• Recommended Dilutions:Immunohistochemistry (Frozen): 1-3ug/ml.
• Paraformaldehyde or paraformaldehyde/glutaraldehyde are suitable.
• Cryostat and vibratome sections can be used with or without Triton X-100 treatment
• Immunoprecipitation: When linked to immobilized Protein A, it will immunoprecipitate detergent-solubilized receptor from brain or transfected cells
• Western Blot: 0.5-2.5ug/ml using rat brain shows a single band of ~110 kD co-migrating with GRIA1 expressed in transfected cells
• Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
• Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
• Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
• Store at -20°C.
• Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
• For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
