Luteinizing hormone promotes spermatogenesis and ovulation by stimulating the testes and ovaries to synthesize steroids.
It exists as a heterodimer of a common alpha chain and a unique beta chain which confers biological specificity to thyrotropin, lutropin, follitropin, and gonatropin.
Applications:Suitable for use in RIA, ELISA, Immunohistochemistry and Western Blot.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilutions:RIA: 1:500,000ELISA: 1:400,000-1:800,000Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C.
Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
