• The alpha subunit is similar to those of LH, HCG, and TSH.
• The beta subunit is different from the other hormones and confers its biochemical specificity.
• FSH is secreted by the basophilic cells of the anterior pituitary.
• FSH stimulates the growth and maturation of the ovarian follicles in the female and stimulates spermatogenesis in the male.

• Recommended Dilution:RIA: 1:30,000-1:180,000Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
• Storage and Stability:Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C.
• Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O.
• Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
• Store at -20°C.
• For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
• Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
