• Endothelins (ET) show potent constrictor activity in vascular and non-vascular smooth muscle.
• This family of 21aa peptides exists in at least three isoforms, ET-1, ET-2, and ET-3, and is produced in endothelial and epithelial cells.
• ET's can mediate biological effects in cells and tissues, and have been shown to bind to an ET receptor in the lung, kidney, heart and liver.
• Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry and Radioimmunoassay.
• Other applications not tested.
• Recommended Dilutions:Immunohistochemistry: Paraffin sectionsOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
• Storage and Stability:Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C.
• Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O.
• Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
• Store at -20°C.
• For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
• Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
