Asymmetric dimethylarginine (ADMA) is a naturally occurring chemical found in blood plasma.
It is a metabolic by-product of continual protein modification processes in the cytoplasm of all human cells.
It is closely related to L-arginine, a conditionally-essential amino acid.
ADMA interferes with L-arginine in the production of nitric oxide, a key chemical involved in normal endothelial function and, by extension, cardiovascular health.
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry.
Other applications not tested.

Storage and Stability:Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C.
Reconstitute with sterile dH2O.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
