特徴

• FAP alpha a type II membrane protein belonging to the serine protease family.
• FAP alpha is upregulated on activated fibroblasts in response to wounding, and may also be involved in epithelial-mesenchymal interactions during development and tissue repair.
• Active FAP alpha is a 170kD homodimeric protein which can also exist as a soluble form.
• FAP alpha can also form heterodimeric complexes with CD26 (DPP4), and these proteins may function co-ordinately to modulate the growth, differentiation, adhesion and metastasis of tumor cells.
• Applications:Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry.
• Other applications not tested.
• Recommended Dilutions:Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin): 10ug/ml.
• Requires antigen retrieval using heat treatment prior to staining of paraffin sections.
• Sodium citrate buffer pH 6.0 is recommended
• Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

• Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
• Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
• Store at -20°C.
• Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
• For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
