APRIL (a proliferation-inducing ligand) is a newly identified member of the tumor necrosis factor (TNF) family.
Ectopic expression of APRIL is associated with the upregulation of X-linked inhibitor of apoptosis protein (XIAP) and may act as antiapoptotic factor.
Although transcripts of APRIL are of low abundance in normal tissues, high levels of mRNA are detected in transformed cell lines, and in human cancers of colon, thyroid, and lymphoid tissues in vivo.
Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry and Neutralization.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Sandwich ELISA: 0.5-2ug/ml using 100ul/well, detects 0.2-04ng/well of recombinant human APRIL
Western Blot: 0.1-0.2ug/ml.
The detection limit for recombinant human APRIL is 1.5-3ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions
Immunohistochemistry (FFPE): 0.25ug/ml.
Incubate overnight at 4ºC.
Heat induced antigen retrieval, pH 6.0, sodium citrate is recommended.
Optimal dilution determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
