Brachyury is the founding member of the T-box family of transcription factors, which is characterized by a conserved DNA-binding T-domain at the N-terminus.
Brachyury is required in the early determination and differentiation of mesoderms.
Applications:Suitable for use in Immunocytochemistry.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Immunocytochemistry: 1:10.
This antibody has been tested using E9.5 mouse embryo sections fixed in 4% paraformaldehyde and blocked with PBS containing 10% normal donkey serum, 0.1% Triton X-100, and 1% BSA.
Sections were then incubated with B2674-75D in blocking buffer for 3 hrs at RT in the dark.
Between each step, cells were washed with PBS containing BSA.
If a staining volume of 250ul is used, this reagent can be used for 20 tests; 100 tests can be done in a staining volume of 50ul
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:Stored in the dark at 4°C.
Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at 4°C.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Northern Light conjugates are sensitive to light.
