特徴

• STEAP1 (six-transmembrane epithelial antigen of the prostate-1) is a 40kD protein (predicted) of the STEAP family of metalloreductases.
• It is expressed mainly at cell-cell junctions between prostate secretory epithelium, and upregulated in prostate and some bladder, colon and ovarian cancers and Ewing’s sarcomas.
• Human STEAP1 is 339aa in length.
• It contains a ferric oxidoreductase domain (aa119-265) that includes transmembrane sequences (# 2, 3, 4 and part of 5, out of 6 sequences).
• Two splice forms diverge at aa255, terminating after aa58 or 259.
• Over aa1- 71, human and mouse STEAP1 share 68% aa identity.
• Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot.
• Other applications not tested.
• Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 1ug/ml using LNCaP human prostate cancer cell lineOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
• Storage and Stability:Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C.
• Reconstitute with sterile PBS.
• Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
• Store at -20°C.
• For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
• Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
