Notch-1 (so named for “notches” in fly wings; also TAN-1) is a 300kD, 2538aa member of the notch family of type I TM glycoproteins.
It is associated with gene activation in both embryo and adult.
Applications:Suitable for use in Direct ELISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilutions:Western Blot: 1ug/ml using bEnd.3 mouse endothelioma cell lineImmunohistochemistry: 5-15ug/ml using immersion fixed frozen sections of mouse neural tube (E13.5)Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C.
Stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C.
Reconstitute with sterile PBS.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
