• Members of the 'frizzled' gene family encode 7-transmembrane domain proteins that are receptors for Wnt signaling proteins.
• The FZD7 protein contains an N-terminal signal sequence, 10 cysteine residues typical of the cysteine-rich extracellular domain of Fz family members, 7 putative transmembrane domains, and an intracellular C-terminal tail with a PDZ domain-binding motif.
• FZD7 gene expression may downregulate APC function and enhance beta-catenin-mediated signals in poorly differentiated human esophageal carcinomas.
• Applications:Suitable for use in Peptide ELISA and Western Blot.
• Other applications not tested.
• Recommended Dilutions:Peptide ELISA: Antibody detection limit dilution 1:64,000.
• Western Blot: 0.3-1ug/ml; Approx 60kD band observed in lysates of cell lines HEK293 and HepG2 (calculated MW of 63.6kD according to NP_003498)
• Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
• Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
• Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
• Store at -20°C.
• Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months.
• For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
