• Adenoviruses were discovered in 1953.
• About 47 different types have been identified since then, and about half of them are believed to cause human diseases.
• Infants and children are most commonly affected by adenoviruses.
• Adenovirus infections can occur throughout the year, but seem to be most common from fall to spring.
• Adenoviruses are responsible for 3-5% of acute respiratory infections in children and 2% of respiratory illnesses in adults.
• Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry.

• Recommended Dilutions:Western Blot: 1:500-1:1000Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
• Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
• Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.

• Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
• For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
