Corticotropin Releasing Hormone Receptor 1 (CRHR1 or CRF1) is a member of the corticotropin-releasing factor family of G-protein-coupled receptors that also includes CRF2.
It is abundantly expressed in the CNS with major expression in the cortex, cerebellum, hippocampus, amygdala, olfactory bulb and pituitary.
In the periphery, the receptors are expressed at low levels in the skin, ovary, testis and adrenal gland. It mediates stress and anxiety including stress related colonic motor activity.
Applications:Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, ELISA, Western Blot.
