CES1, predominantly expressed in the liver, is involved in the metabolism of fatty acids and cholesterol by acting as an acyl-CoA:cholesterol acyl-transferase, and also in the metabolism of several clinical drugs including heroin, cocaine and demerol.
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:ELISA: 1:8000Western Blot: 0.03-0.1ug/mlImmunohistochemistry (Formalin fixed paraffin embedded): 2.5ug/mlOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
