Nuclear factor kappa light chain enhancer in B cells (NFkappaB) is a transcription regulator that consists of two subunits, 50kD DNA binding subunit (p50) and 65kD transactivation subunit (p65/Rel1A).
The p50/p65 heterodimer predominates in many cells types.
p65 shows a weak DNA-binding site which could contribute directly to DNA binding of the NFkappaB complex.
The inhibitory effect of IkappaB upon NFkappaB in the cytoplasm is exerted primarily through the interaction with p65 subunit.
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:ELISA: 1:50Western Blot: 1:1000Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
