Nuclear factor kappa light chain enhancer in B cells (NF?B) is a transcription regulator that consists of two subunits, 50kD DNA binding subunit (p50) and 65kD transactivation subunit (p65/Rel1A).
p52 subunit has an isoform p50 and both proteins are derived from p105 precursor.
NFkappaB p52 forms dimers with other members of the NFkappaB/Re1 and it remains in the cytosol in an inactive form bounded to its inhibitor IkappaB.
Upon stimulation, phosphorylation of IkappaB releases NFkappaB complex which is traslocated into de nucleus and regulates the expression of genes that participate in immune, apoptotic, and oncogenic processes.
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunocytochemistry.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:ELISA: 1:100Western Blot: 1:500Immunocytochemistry: 1:100Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
