Cullins (1, 2, 3, 4a, 5 and 7) are a family of proteins that assemble a large number of ubiquitin ligases to catalyse polyubiquitiation, as well as binding to various specific factors to recruit substrates.
Cullin 5 (CUL 5) is a component of E3 ubiquitin ligase complexes and it is involved in proteosomal degradation of p53/TP53 stimulated by adenovirus E1B-55 kD protein.
It may also form a cell surface vasopresin receptor and it may play a role in brast tumorigenesis.
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunocytochemistry.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:ELISA: 1:500Western Blot: 1:1000Immunocytochemistry: 1:100Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
