Cullins (1, 2, 3, 4a, 5 and 7) are a family of proteins that assemble a large number of ubiquitin ligases to catalyse polyubiquitiation, as well as binding to various specific factors to recruit substrates.
Cullin 2 (CUL 2) is a component of E3 ubiquitin ligase complexes which controls the proteolysis of G1 cell cycle regulatory proteins.
It forms a complex with an inactive transcriptional elongation complex formed by three subunits elongain C, elongain B and VHL.
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:ELISA: 1:100Western Blot: 1:1000Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
