• ChREBP is a transcription factor involved in activating genes that encode enzymes of fatty acid biosynthesis in liver and adipose.
• This protein may have relevance to lipid metabolism, obesity, and type II diabetes.
• Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation and Immunohistochemistry (formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded sections).
• Other applications not tested.
• Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: a band is seen corresponding to the theoretical molecular weight of human ChREBP of ~95kD.
• Immunoprecipitation: chromatinOptimal dilution determined by the researcher.
• Storage and Stability:Store at 2-8°C.
• Do Not Freeze! Aliquots are stable for at least 3 months.
• For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
• Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
• Sodium azide is a potent inhibitor of peroxidase and should not be added to HRP conjugates.
