RAP1A and RAP1B belong to a family of Ras-related proteins.
These proteins share approximately 50% amino acid identity with the classical Ras proteins and have numerous structural features in common.
Human RAP1B is 95% identical to RAP1A.
It has been proposed that RAP1A and RAP1B may regulate RAS-mediated signalling and may also be involved in the regulation of integrin-mediated cell adhesion, although the mechanism of regulation is not known.
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:ELISA: 0.03-0.06ug/mlWestern Blot: 1.0ug/mlOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C.
Reconstitute with sterile 40-50% glycerol, aliquot and store at -20°C.
Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
