特徴
- The Receptor for Advanced Glycation Endproducts (RAGE) is a member of the immunoglobin superfamily of cell surface markers.
- This protein mediates interactions of advanced glycosylation end products (AGE).
- These are nonenzymatically glycosylated proteins which accumulate in vascular tissue in aging and at an accelerated rate in diabetes.
- RAGE (SwissProt Q15109) can act as receptor for amyloid beta peptide.
- Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot.
- Other applications not tested.
- Recommended Dilution:ELISA: 0.03-1ug/mlWestern Blot: 1.0ug/mlOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
- Storage and Stability:For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C.
- Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C.
- For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
- Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
