特徴
- Geminin inhibits DNA replication by preventing the incorporation of the MCM complex into the prereplication complex (pre-RC).
- It is absent during the G1 phase, accumulates during the S, G2, and M phases, and disappears at the time of the metaphase-anaphase transition.
- Geminin contains 212 amino acids and has a destruction box sequence of RRTLKVIQP.
- Its destruction at the metaphase-anaphase transition permits replication in the succeeding cell cycle.
- Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot.
- Other applications not tested.
- Recommended Dilution:ELISA: 0.05-0.2ug/mlWestern Blot: 0.5-1ug/mlOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
- Storage and Stability:Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C.
- Stable for 12 months at -20°C.
- Reconstitute by adding sterile 40-50% glycerol, ddH2O.
- Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20ºC.
- For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
- Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
