• 15-Hydroxyprostaglandin dehydrogenase (15-PGDH) is a novel tumor suppressor in the COX-2 pathway.
• The protein is found in many normal tissues and appears to be down-regulated in colorectal and lung carcinoma tissue.
• Applications:Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry (paraffin-embedded sections).
• Other applications not tested.
• Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: bands may be seen at 29kD and 58kD
• Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
• Cellular Localization: Cytoplasmic
• Positive Control: Treated A549 lung carcinoma cell lysates (see note) and LoVo colon carcinoma cell lysates.
• Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
• For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and store at -20°C.
• Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C.
• For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
• Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
