Protein disulfide isomerase (PDI) is an acidic 55kD thyroid hormone-binding protein that appears to be identical to the glial-p55 protein.
It has been suggested to be involved in disulfide-bond formation and isomerization, as well as the reduction of disulfide bonds in proteins.
It may also play a role in the thyroid hormone-dependent regulation of actin polymerization and the degradation of the membrane-associated protein type II iodothyronine 5'-deiodinase (5'D-II).
Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation and Immunocytochemistry.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Immunocytochemistry: 1:5000-1:20,000Immunohistochemistry (frozen): 1:100-1:1000Immunohistochemistry (paraffin): 1:100-1:500Western Blot: 1:10,000-1:20,000Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
