Jumonji is a nuclear protein that participates in the negative regulation of cell growth.
It is required for neural tube formation and is essential for normal heart development and function.
As well, it is a part of a group of proteins characterized by a novel structural motif, the JmjC domain, which is implicated in chromatin regulation through histone demethylation.

For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
