特徴
- FAS (Fatty Acid Synthase) is a central enzyme in de novo lipogenesis (triglyceride production).
- It is a target for SREBP and is upregulated by LXR activation.
- Fatty liver is often the result of FAS activation.
- It is also one of the accepted markers for insulin resistance and SREBP, LXR activation.
- Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation and Immunohistochemistry.
- Other applications not tested.
- Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 1:1000 A band should be seen at ~272kD on SDS-PAGE.
- May see 1 or 2 minor cross-reacting lower MW bands in liver tissue
- Immunoprecipitation: 1:100Immunohistochemistry: ParaffinOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
- Positive Control:Mouse liver lysate
- Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
- Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
- Store at -20°C.
- Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months.
- For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
