CTGF (connective tissue growth factor) is a 38kD, cysteine-rich, secreted peptide.
It is a new member of the peptide family that include serum-induced immediate early gene products, a v-src-induced peptide and a putative proto-oncogene.
Among the many functions of the CTGF gene family are embryogenesis, wound healing and regulation of extracellular matrix production.
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 1:1000-1:2000 detects a band at ~38kD
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
