A novel gene, Novel Amplified in Breast Cancer-1 (NABC1) is implicated in breast cancer development.
Breast tumor lines that harbor amplification of the cancer-related amplicon 20q13.2 display high levels of the NABC1 protein compared to normal human fibroblasts or a breast cancer line that does not overexpress the NABC1 mRNA.
Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 1:100-1:2000, 2 bands are seen at ~120 and ~80 kD.
NABC1 is a 60kD protein; however it forms dimers, which are readily detectable in MCF-7 cellsOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
