The novel BRCAA1 protein's epitope, SSKKQKRSHK, was mapped to the cytoplasm of MCF-7 cells.
Analysis has shown that the antigen epitope exhibited positive expression in 65% of breast cancer specimens.
Its expression is associated with characteristics that are associated with prognosis of breast cancer, and its sera antibody level may be helpful for breast cancer diagnosis.
Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 1:500-1:1000, a band is seen at ~130kDOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
