Transforming Growth Factor beta Receptor III lacks a cytoplasmic signaling domain and functions as an accessory receptor that enhances efficient TGF-beta2 binding and signaling.
A soluble form of the receptor can be released by proteolytic cleavage of the membrane-bound form.

Reconstitute with sterile PBS.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.

For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
