Produced in goats immunized with purified, NS0-derived, recombinant human Nectin-3 (rhNectin-3; aa 56-400; Accession # AAF97597) extracellular domain.
Human Nectin-3 specific IgG was purified by human Nectin-3 affinity chromatography.
Nectin-3, also known as poliovirus receptor-related 3, is a 95kD type I transmembrane glycoprotein belonging to the Nectin family of Ig superfamily proteins.
The extracellular domains of the Nectin family form cis-homodimers that are homophilic and heterophilic trans-interacting cell adhesion molecules, which play important roles in various cell-cell junctions.
Human Nectin-3 extracellular domain shares 94% amino acid sequence identity with that of mouse Nectin-3 and then biotinylated.
Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 0.1-0.2ug/ml detection limit for rhNectin-3 is ~ 2ng/lane under non-reducing and reducing conditions.
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C.
Reconstitute to nominal volume by adding sterile 40-50% glycerol, aliquot and store at -20°C.
Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
