• ISLR2 (Ig-superfamily containing LRR protein 2; also SST273) is a 100-110kD member of the LRR family of proteins.
• It is expressed on developing motor, sensory and interneurons.
• Mouse ISLR2 is 745 amino acids (aa) in length.
• It is a type I transmembrane glycoprotein that contains a 571 aa extracellular domain (ECD) and a 132 aa cytoplasmic region.
• The ECD shows multiple LRRs (aa 21-231) and one Ig-like domain (aa 251-374).
• Mouse ISLR2 apparently has one alternate start site at Met130.
• Over aa 20-590, mouse ISLR2 is 89% and 98% aa identical to human and rat ISLR2, respectively.
• Applications:Suitable for use in Direct ELISA and Western Blot.
• Other applications not tested.
• Recommended Dilution:Direct ELISA: 0.5-1ug/mL detection limit for rmISLR-2 ~ 0.8ng/well.
• Western Blot: 0.1-0.2ug/mL detection limit for rmISLR-2 ~ 5ng/lane under non-reducing and reducing conditions
• Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
• Storage and Stability:Lyophilized powder may be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
• Reconstitute to nominal volume by adding sterile 40-50% glycerol and store at -20°C.
• Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C.
• For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
• Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
