• ISLR-2 (Ig-superfamily containing LRR protein 2; also KIAA1465) is a 100-110kD member of the LRR family of proteins.
• It is expressed on developing motor, sensory and interneurons.
• Mature human ISLR-2 is 727aa in length.
• It is a type I transmembrane glycoprotein that contains a 571 aa extracellular domain (ECD) and a 135 aa cytoplasmic region.
• The ECD shows multiple LRRs (aa50-227) and one Ig-like domain (aa233-371).
• One alternate splice form may exist that shows a deletion of aa160-570.
• Over aa20-590, human ISLR-2 is 89% aa identical to both canine and mouse ISLR-2.
• Applications:Suitable for use in Direct ELISA and Western Blot.
• Other applications not tested.
• Recommended Dilutions:Western Blot: 0.1ug/ml using Recombinant Human ISLR‑2Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
• Storage and Stability:Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C.
• Reconstitute with sterile PBS.
• Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
• Store at -20°C.
• For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
• Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
