特徴
- ID2 (Inhibitor of DNA binding 2; also known as inhibitor of differentiation 2) is a 15kD member of the small ID HLH family of proteins.
- It is a nuclear protein that forms inactivating heterodimers with bHLH transcription factors.
- bHLH proteins activate lineage-specific genes and ID2.
- Human ID2 is 134 amino acids (aa) in length.
- It contains one HLH domain (aa 36-76) but no DNA-binding motif.
- Full-length human ID2 is 98% aa identical to both mouse and porcine ID2.
- Applications:Suitable for use in Direct ELISA and Western Blot.
- Other applications not tested.
- Recommended Dilution:Direct ELISA: 0.5-1ug/mL detection limit for rhID2 ~1ng/well
- Western Blot: 1ug/mLOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
- Storage and Stability:Lyophilized powder may be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
- Reconstitute to nominal volume by adding sterile 40-50% glycerol and store at -20°C.
- Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C.
- For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
- Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
