The sequence-specific transcription factor activator protein 2a (AP-2a) is required for normal growth and morphogenesis during mammalian development.
This includes development of the Neural Crest.
Decreased or loss of AP-2a expression has been observed in many different types of human cancers including breast cancer, ovarian cancer, melanoma and prostate cancer.
Applications:Suitable for use in Immunoprecipitation, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilutions:Immunoprecipitation: 1:50Western Blot: 1:1000Immunohistochemistry (paraffin): 1:300Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
